Delighted by James Brown’s bag of eccentricities while spending a day photographing his album cover, “Universal James” while decoding every other word he spoke. Communing with Eldridge Cleaver at Carl’s home studio while Cleaver shared his life’s sorrows and victories. Having tea and discussing the benefits of meditation with George Harrison and his wife Olivia in their hotel suite in downtown Osaka while shooting Harrison’s three week concert tour for his CD, “Live in Japan.” Currently residing in the pristine mountains of Colorado with his wife Cynthia and their two dogs, Carl views the world as his home and enjoys traveling the globe in offering his photographic talent and gifts.
